Treatment & Recovery

ALPHA provides treatment and recovery services for substance use/misuse and behavioral/mental health and co-occurring needs for individuals and their families in an accessible outpatient setting. Those seeking services will receive a clinical assessment to help identify the needs of the individual. The clinical counselor will then work with the individual to design a treatment plan outlining goals, type of treatment and frequency based upon the assessment and what works best for the individual. If needed, referrals can be made to a higher level of care or to other agencies for further assistance in other areas of need. Services are offered in individual and group settings or a combination.

ALPHA’s clinical team has vast knowledge and experience. Clinicians hold certification and licensure including Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, Licensed Master of Social Work, National Certified Addictions Counselor, Substance Abuse Professional, and Victim Specialist. They also specialize in several therapies such as Trauma Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Family Therapy, Play therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
